Amy can't pay this month's rent. She needs some help. Unfortunately, none of her friends can help her. They don't have any money, either. Poor Amy is really depressed. She has no money, and the landlord is knocking at the door. Amy is very nervous. She shouts, “No one is home！”

此處some [s?m;s?m]為形容詞，表示“一些”。此外，亦可表示“某個”的意思，用法如下
a. 作“一些”解時，之后可接復數可數名詞(如friends、books)或不可數名詞(如money、help)。
例: Peter has some very good English books.
(彼得有一些很棒的英文書。)
I have some money.
(我有一些錢。)
b. 作“某個”解時，之后接單數可數名詞。此時的some相當于不定冠詞a或an。
例: Some guy is looking for you.

本句中的none是代詞，可用來代替人或物，指三個或三個以上的人或東西中“沒有一個”，用法如下：
