控制器設(shè)計與仿真

DCS接口定義

Controller design and simulation
This is a Windows based package, integrated with AIDAPro, to design, test and build Exasmoc controllers. AIDAPro generates the process dynamic model. Alternatively, the model may be built using the Graphical Model Builder. SMOC-PC allows to simulate the controller behavior to test the tuning, robustness to model errors and optimization performance. The final stage in the off-line design is the creation of the controller file (.EXA), for use by the on-line Exasmoc controller.

DCS interface definition
DCS interface definition module will assign the controller inputs/outputs from/to DCS according to applications.
The final stage in the off-line design is the creation of the definition file (.EXA), for use by the on-line Exasmoc controller.

Exasmoc on-line controller
The on-line controller incorporates all functions required for the operation of the controller in real time. This includes signal validation, Initialization, mode shedding, standard operator and engineer interface, and controller engine. The Exasmoc on-line controller is the one, which runs in Windows, based Exasmoc station described earlier.
This manual provides the step-by-step instructions to the user for the control, operation, monitoring and configuration/tuning functions of Exasmoc online controller for actually controlling the plant in APC mode.
? Supplementary packages for Exasmoc
Following supplementary packages (COAST and RQE) complement the Exasmoc based APC strategies. The use of these package will depend upon the by type of process and need of APC scheme for it.
COAST: Control Application Standards
This is a comprehensive library of advanced control modules for standard applications to continuous process in oil, gas, chemical and petrochemicals. COAST modules are generally used in conjunction with Exasmoc, and provide the supporting control functions and process calculations needed to achieve the desired control and operating objectives for a particular application.
Refer figure 3.0a, where an example is shown. “Tray Loading Calculations” (One of the module within COAST library) provides calculations for Exasmoc.
Following is the list of some of the modules from the COAST library.
Shell Surge Volume Control (SSVC):
SSVC is an advanced level controller, designed to minimize the effect of feed flow changes on down stream units, by making the best use of available surge vessel capacity.
Furnace Coil Balancing:
This controller is used for balancing furnace coil outlet temperatures, by adjusting the coils flow set points.
