高分范例
Mr. Andrew (use one of your neighbour's name) is one of the neighbours whom I like very much. Since I live in an urban area, people are close to each other and maintain a strong neighbourhood relationship, unlike the metropolitan area.
In our neighbour, we know almost each and every people living there, what they do, what are their updates, what are their profession and their overall personality as well. Mr. Andrew 's house is next to ours and I meet him almost every day.? Mr. Andrew is a retired army person who is now around 50 years old. He lives in his house alone and I have never found his relatives visiting him except some old colleagues. He stays inside his house most of the time and in the evening he sits in the veranda. He is a quiet man who likes to read a lot. I like to read as well and our reading habit was the primary reason we started liking our accompany each other.
I like and admire this man very much. He has travelled to many different places and has lots of experience. Since I have become close to him, he recommends me books that I mostly enjoy reading. He advises me whenever I seek for his guidance. He is sometimes a close friend, sometimes a mentor and sometimes a guardian. I like him because he is such an intelligent, calm, good-hearted and charming man.

I would like to talk about my primary school teacher who I used to know when I was about 7 or 8. Her name was Ms Zhou and she was my teacher for about 3 years before I left primary school.
She was my favourite teacher at school because she was always nice to me. Actually, almost every one of our class likes her for her polite manner, serene life-style and her wit.Whenever I had any problems, whether it'd be a difficult piece of work or a friend upsetting me, she always had a way to make me smile. She had a pleasant, feminine voice and her manners were impeccable. She always said thank you when we did anything helpful, wished us a wonderful evening when we went home or greeted us each day with ‘Good morning, how are you all feeling today?’.?She often protests the unfair issues of our class, but those are so natural and her way of presenting those issues are so important and obvious that everyone of our class obey her.
She was my role model for learning good manners, staying positive and how to be grateful towards other people. She taught me the value of sharing things too. I think this is something that applies to even now in adulthood. Not only was Ms Zhou a really polite person I've known, she was also the nicest teacher I’ve ever had and her lessons about life are still with me today.

高分范例
The book I’d like to talk about is one calledThink Like DaVinci, as it's definitely a book I would like to read again at some point, for reasons I'll come on to shortly.
But firstly though, with regard to what the book was about, well in a nutshell, it basically explained how all of us have the capability and potential to become a genius, like DaVinci. And it outlined a few various things that he used to do, which we can also get into the habit of doing. So in other words, it basically offered a few ideas on how we can all live to our full potential.
Anyway, as for what made me read it, well if my memory serves me correctly, I was browsing around in my local bookshop one day, and the book's cover kind of just caught my eye when I saw the nameDaVinciwritten in big bold letters.
I should also mention the fact that I'm quite a big fan of self-help books, because on the whole, I tend to learn quite a lot from them, and this book was definitely no exception. I would say I've learned to become much more observant after reading this book, such as generally paying more attention to everything around me. And in so doing, this has made me appreciate things a lot more.
Of course, there were a number of other things I learned, but nothing else is coming to mind right now, and that's basically why I wanna read the book again, because I've forgotten a lot of it. So I kind of need to refresh my memory a little bit.
