課程簡介
本課程將以一學(xué)期的上課時(shí)間，討論經(jīng)濟(jì)人類學(xué)理論的發(fā)展。重點(diǎn)將放在經(jīng)濟(jì)人類學(xué)如何成為一個(gè)人類學(xué)重要的分枝，以及不同的人類學(xué)理論，如功能論、文化論、結(jié)構(gòu)馬克斯理論、政治經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、文化經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)等，對於「經(jīng)濟(jì)」、「理性」等基本概念的看法，及其之間的對話與轉(zhuǎn)化，並由非西方資本主義經(jīng)濟(jì)的研究來探討資本主義經(jīng)濟(jì)以外的其他經(jīng)濟(jì)之可能性。由於被研究的對象多為西方資本主義經(jīng)濟(jì)影響下的非西方社會(huì)，我們也將討論不同理論用於不同文化區(qū)所能呈現(xiàn)其社會(huì)文化特色的有效性，以及各文化的獨(dú)特性又如何刺激人類學(xué)家思考有關(guān)「經(jīng)濟(jì)」的本質(zhì)即資本主義經(jīng)濟(jì)以外的其他經(jīng)濟(jì)之可能性的問題。也因此，整個(gè)課程實(shí)也是以「經(jīng)濟(jì)」為主題來討論人類學(xué)的一般性理論問題。換言之，我們將透過一個(gè)分支的探討，來處理及瞭解經(jīng)濟(jì)的本質(zhì)及整個(gè)人類學(xué)知識的性質(zhì)。而上課的同學(xué)都必須每一個(gè)星期讀一本主要的經(jīng)濟(jì)人類學(xué)經(jīng)典著作或等份量的論文（即書目中有打「＊」號均必須讀），並寫下五頁以內(nèi)的讀書報(bào)告。學(xué)期末再交一份正式的「研究」報(bào)告。
