Everyone knows that when facing change we should act as sniff and scurry, or at least like Haw, but actually, we usually act more like Hem. It is ridiculously that most of us are not willing to admit or even are not aware that we are afraid of change.
In this section, Laura is the person who I admire most. Just like Laura, we should wonder how we could be more like Haw and see what we are doing wrong, laugh at ourselves, change and do better.

This passage mainly discusses about what we can get from the Cheese story and how we can apply it to our situation. The story gives fresh explanations of New Cheese and Old Cheese. New Cheese means the benefits of constantly adapting to the changes; while Old Cheese means bad things that need to be corrected or discarded, it may be a bad job, a failed business, an old fashioned store, perhaps it is a relationship that is not harmonious. In face of Old Cheese, the first thing is correcting the bad behavior habits, and changing the way you get along with your partner and the way you work? instead of? simply giving up, after unremitting effort, you will find New Cheese.

As a negative character, Hem is conservative, resisting any change. He is so stubborn that he prefers to suffer from hunger and poverty rather than go out to search for new cheese because he is uncertain about the outside world. Even when Haw came back to invite him to go out together, he still made no response. In Hem's opinion, doing nothing and just waiting should be the best way to react to change, with the hope of the return of the Old Cheese.
Hem represents a kind of people in our real life, who are afraid to change and hold on to their Old Cheese. They can't bear the likely failure of going out to struggle for new cheese. They almost have no ambition to a better life and therefore make no effort to think up effective ways to meet challenges and changes, who are indeed cowards.
As far as I am concerned, Hem is less likely to go out and seek his new cheese. Such kind of people are the ?least enthusastic human beings and so there is no doubt that they are sure to be eliminated by history sooner or later.

Part 8:Having heard the story,most of us can't help but wondering which character of the four we are like in our real life.As a matter of fact,we're like each of the four in different stages of life or in different situations ,like a hard time with changes in careers,marriages,technology,social relationship,etc.I hope I'll be sensitive to changes and learn to take actions to deal with different problems and meanwhile I can always keep my spiritual peace.

After Mickael finished telling the story, his classmates had a disscussion about it. Some of them said who they were in the story and what they did when facing changes. They also talked about what they had learned from the story. And Mickael shared how he put the story into use in his company.
I'm impressed by Mickael's experience. He used to be in a rat race and couldn't get out. After hearing the story, he realized that his job was to paint a picture of 'New Cheese' so that they could enjoy changing and succeeding. He asked his people in company who they were in the story, then he treated them differently. The result is many people enjoyed their work, even some of the Hems turn into Haws.

After Haw had been away from the Cheese Station N,Hem felt sad and lonely.Hem kept thinking about the lost cheese and couldn't accept the truth.But with the time passed by, the cheese still didn't come back.What's more,Hem was in bad condition,becoming increasingly weaker.He knew it was the time that he should make a change and go into the maze to search for the new cheese again,otherwise he would die in the near future.No matter whether he could find new cheese or not,he had tried it.As the old saying goes,"No pains,no gains."Just looking at Haw,he had found new cheese after venturing into the maze.Such a good example was in front of Hem.So Hem decided to pluck up and had a try.He dreamed of meeting his good friend Haw and smiled he started to change.

What we learn from this part is the following.
Nathan ,Laura , Frank ,Michael and other former classmates discuss who they're in the story, Sniff, Scurry, Hem and Haw. And ?they analyze how to adjust to their change in life and in work. At last, they draw a conclusion that a change imposed is a change opposed.

The several students discussed the four roles of the story Who Moved My Cheese. They thought about their own lives.
For example ,Richard,his manager's been telling him their company need to change.He didn't want to hear it at first when he saw everything became better,he must admit he got more interested in making the change happen.
Actually in our real life,someone like Sniff and Scurry, someone like Haw,someone like Hem.
Eventually I'll thank for teacher Kankan because he let me read the story Who Moved My Cheese again.And I'll thank for assistant teacher and monitor V.
