筆記：“活在當下”的英文表達就是這里的live in the moment. 此句是梭羅（Thoreau）所寫。
2.In me the tiger sniffs the rose.
心有猛虎，細嗅薔薇。
筆記：英國詩人薩松（Sassoon）的經典詩句，由詩人余光中先生將其翻譯為：“心有猛虎，細嗅薔薇。”后兩句是“Look in my heart, kind friends, and tremble,since there your elements assemble. ”（審視我的內心吧，親愛的朋友，你應顫栗， 因為那才是你本來的面目）。人性是有兩面的，而兩兩相對的人性又是調和的。莫名想到了張愛玲的那一句 “如果你認識過去的我,你就會原諒現在的我 ”，其實，人也是在變化的。
3.I love not only your strapping stature, but also your firm stand, the earth beneath you.
不僅愛你偉岸的身軀，也愛你堅持的位置，腳下的土地。
筆記：舒婷的《致橡樹》，這是我最喜歡的一版翻譯，大部分譯文將 “偉岸的身軀 ”譯為 “giant body”，額，此處省略吐槽。

生活沒有目標，猶如航海沒有羅盤。
筆記：今天幫小伙伴修改一篇英文報告，在使用到 “aim”這個單詞的時候，就想到了羅斯金（Ruskin）的這句名言。
5.TOP=Talent+Opportunity+Patience
筆記：一個人若想成功，不僅需要天分、才能，更要有合適的機遇，同時還要有 “大器晚成 ” 的耐心。這是在今日閱讀的一篇文章中get的。
6.Remain true to our original aspiration.
不忘初心。
筆記：車行駛過政務中心門口，看到了這句英文。后面還有一句“Keep our mission firmly in mind”（牢記使命）。
7.Every day is the best in your life.
每一天都是你生命中最好的一天。
筆記：在作圖時偶然看到了這句話，中文就由我自己翻譯啦，本來想譯成“最美好”，但還是換成了“最好”，因為不論是苦是樂，總是無可替代的最好時光。其實愛默生（Emerson）也曾說過一句類似的——”Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.”（請銘記于心：每一天都是一年中最好的一天。）
8.A bosom friend afar brings a distant land near.
海內存知己，天涯若比鄰。
