Personally speaking,I believe a developed educational system will contribute most to a country’s success.
First,a foreign country like the U.S. or Canada has advanced education, because many professors are experts in their research areas, which will benefit students study and shape students’ way of thinking.
More importantly,the knowledge and skill from overseas study will will not only help students establish a very strong academic background, but also allow students to contribute what they have learned back to their country and thus improve the education system in the country.

Yes,I believe people read fewer books than before with the popularity of the technology.And I have two reasons.
Take cell phone for example.First,it is very convenient but also time-consuming. This small and portable tool allows us to use it anywhere and anytime. If you look around, you will see many people spend a lot of time in texting message, chatting with friends or surfing online for fun. Since they spend a lot of time using our cell phone, it is admitted that we do not have much time reading a book.
Also,cell phone is so entertaining that sometimes we cannot resist using it. For example, we can watch a movie, play games or listen to the music while we waiting for a bus or walking back home. Thus, compared with reading a book, I guess many people prefer playing with their cellphone.
